Camden Museum contains a rich collection of Camden's cultural, agricultural, and social history. The history of the Camden district’s unique heritage unfolds in the exhibited stories and displays as you wander through the large collection of First Nations, colonial, and 20th-century material, which has been donated by the people of the town and district.
Formed in 1957, the Camden Historical Society is a volunteer-led organisation instrumental in keeping history alive in the Camden area through the museum, and it is responsible for the collection, preservation and display of local heritage and stories. A visit is essential for anyone interested in learning about or researching Camden's local history.
Free entry, gold coin donation is appreciated.
Camden Historical Society meets in Camden Musuem on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7pm (except Jan.). All welcome!
