Vintage FM Joins Camden Village as an Official Media Partner

Spirit of Camden | 2026-06-25 | Camden

Spirit of Camden is proud to announce Vintage FM as the newest media partner for Camden Village, strengthening a shared commitment to promoting local events, businesses and community life across the Macarthur region.

The partnership will see Vintage FM and Camden Village work together to showcase everything that makes Camden a destination worth discovering, from local events and entertainment to dining, shopping and community experiences.

Broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Vintage FM has become a favourite among music lovers, celebrating songs originally released on vinyl more than 40 years ago. The station broadcasts on 88.7FM throughout the Camden and Wollondilly regions and streams online to listeners around the world.

Known for its passionate support of community events, Vintage FM regularly features local organisations, festivals and attractions while entertaining audiences with themed programming including One Hit Wonder Weekends, Number One Hits and decade-spanning classics presented by its popular on-air personalities including Kevin, John Bond, Wilmo, Brian Campbell and Artie Stevens.

Vintage FM is no stranger to Camden Village, having broadcast live from the SPINOUT Rock 'n' Roll Festival in February, where the station entertained festival-goers outside Macaria Art Gallery with the soundtrack of the 1950s and 1960s. More recently, the team was also part of Camden Council's Boots and Beats Festival, continuing its strong support of local events.

Wayne Wilmington, better known to listeners as "Wilmo" on Vintage FM, attended the recent launch of the Camden Village website and recognised the strong alignment between the station and Spirit of Camden's vision of championing local businesses, events and community connections.

Melissa Musgrave, District Coordinator for Spirit of Camden, said the partnership reflects the importance of working with organisations that genuinely believe in promoting the local community.

"Vintage FM has a long history of supporting community events and celebrating local stories. Their passion for our region makes them a natural fit as a media partner for Camden Village. Together, we'll continue showcasing the people, places and experiences that make Camden such a unique destination."

The collaboration will include promotion of Camden Village events, business initiatives and visitor experiences through both organisations' communication channels, helping connect residents and visitors with everything happening across the district.
