Tracey Prioste is a Camden-based artist specialising in highly detailed charcoal realism. Her distinctive monochrome artworks capture the presence, strength and soul of her subjects, with a focus on portraiture, equine and wildlife art.
Working primarily with charcoal powder, Tracey builds each artwork slowly and intentionally, creating depth, emotion and striking realism that is often mistaken for photography.
Recognised by Sir David Attenborough for her wildlife artwork, Tracey has also exhibited and received recognition through leading art prizes and the Royal Art Society of NSW.
Alongside her professional art practice, Tracey is passionate about sharing her love of creativity as an Art Tutor with Alan Baker Art Gallery and Camden Council. Also offering charcoal drawing workshops and art experiences within the Camden community.
