Wowwweeeee and Yeeehaw!! Camden came to life in a country boot scooting way last Saturday for the annual Boots n' Beats Festival.
Back again for its second year at the Bicentennial Equestrian Park and its third event, Boots n' Beats was proudly brought to the community by Camden Council.
Last year saw 8000 people on the grounds for country music, entertainment, dancing and food and this year there had to be more as the seating area was packed within 2 hours of the gates opening.
The line up for horse rides and facepainting to keep the kids entertained were popular, the line dancing section was pumping and people around the food truck area were chowing down on ribs, hotdogs, kebabs, chocolate strawberries and donuts. The Tap Truck was a particularly interesting offering, with drink dispensing screens giving patrons a fast and easy way to get their thirst quenched.
Music on the main stage local Tori Darke and headliner James Johnston kicked the evening up a notch and could be heard chiming louder than St John's bells all around the local suburbs.
What a great event. Congratulations to the Events Team and Council Staff for yet another event showcasing our fabulous Camden.
