Second-Hand Finds and Saturday Vibes in Camden

Spirit of Camden | 2026-09-24 | Camden

Camden is the place to be for bargain hunters, vintage lovers and anyone who enjoys the thrill of finding something unexpected, with Op Shop Hop promotion this Saturday, 26 September as part of Spring into Camden Village.

Spirit of Camden is once again shining a spotlight on Camden’s charity and pre-loved stores, encouraging visitors to make a day of exploring the town, hunting for treasures and supporting local charities at the same time.

Follow the Op Shop Trail

Camden has several fantastic op shops and charity stores to discover, each with its own collection of clothing, homewares, books, collectables and hidden gems.

At the northern end of Argyle Street you’ll find Salvos, located opposite McDonald’s as you enter the town centre.

Continue along Argyle Street and you’ll come to Vinnies, right in the heart of Camden. Just across the road is Lifeline, also known as Treasures on Argyle, making it easy to browse both stores while you are in the centre of town.

A little further afield, along Cawdor Road, is Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, tucked into the nearby industrial area and well worth adding to your treasure-hunting itinerary.

Whether you are searching for pre-loved fashion, vintage crockery, books, kitchenware, ornaments, homewares or something completely unexpected, you never quite know what you might uncover.

Music Along the Way

Spirit of Camden is adding a little live music to this Saturday’s Op Shop Hop, with The Honey Sippers performing at two locations.

Catch them at Vinnies at 9.00am, before they move across Argyle Street to perform at Lifeline at 10.00am.

It’s the perfect excuse to browse the racks, hunt for a bargain and enjoy some live music while you’re there.

Even More Pre-Loved Shopping

The bargain hunting doesn’t stop with Camden’s op shops.

The In Her Shoes Pre-Loved Clothing Market will also be held at the AH&I Hall, also known as the Camden Show Hall, across both Saturday and Sunday.

That means an entire weekend of opportunities for fashion lovers to discover quality pre-loved pieces and give clothing another life.

If you’re planning to continue your shopping on Sunday, Vinnies will also be open, giving you another opportunity to browse alongside the markets.

Make a Day of Camden

There is plenty more happening around Camden this Saturday, so why not turn your Op Shop Hop into a full day out?

The Camden Produce Markets will be happening at Camden Town Farm, while Camden parkrun will be celebrating its eighth anniversary along the Nepean River bike track.

Add in Camden’s cafés, shops, restaurants and beautiful heritage streets and there are plenty of reasons to spend a few hours exploring Camden Village.
